Yes, you can cancel anytime. Because Tonic Unlimited is billed through Apple, you cancel in your iPhone Settings, not inside Tonic. You keep Unlimited until the current period ends, and the free version keeps working afterward. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Cancel your subscription
Tonic Unlimited is billed through your Apple account, so cancelling happens in your iPhone Settings rather than inside Tonic. It takes about thirty seconds.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.The grey gear icon, not the Tonic app.
- Tap your name at the very top.This opens your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions.You will see every app you subscribe to through Apple.
- Tap Tonic, then Cancel Subscription.If you do not see a Cancel button, the subscription is already set to not renew.
After you cancel, you keep Unlimited until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing turns off early.
Cancel a free trial before it renews
If you are on the free trial and do not want to be charged, cancel before the trial ends using the same steps above. As long as you cancel before the last day, you will not be billed, and you can keep using Tonic through the rest of the trial.
Request a refund
Because Apple processes the payment, refunds go through Apple, not through us. Here is where to ask:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.Open it in any browser and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Find the Tonic charge and choose Request a refund.Pick a reason, then submit. Apple reviews and decides each request.
What we can and cannot do
We cannot cancel a subscription or issue a refund on your behalf, and we cannot see your billing details. Apple keeps all of that. If a refund is denied or you are not sure what you were charged for, Apple Support can help directly. We are still happy to point you to the right place.
What happens after you cancel
Cancelling never erases your setup. Your rituals, limits, habits, and history stay exactly where they are. When Unlimited ends, Tonic keeps working on the free version: your apps stay locked until you earn your time, and your tracking keeps going. Nothing is deleted.
